A discussion with students on the role technology is playing in their classrooms and schools, and how we can improve and expand it. We will focus on teacher, parent and administrator capabilities, technology integration into the instruction, and overall access and infrastructure to get a snapshot of the "real" state of technology in schools. We look forward to the students providing suggestions on ways technology use can be enhanced, different applications that should be explored and ideas for capacity building at all levels of the school. This workshop will run from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. for 30 interested students and advisors.

Viewers Choice Awards

This year some of the Digital Movie projects that are competing in the computer fair have been loaded onto the Video on Demand Library of CCiTV - http://ccitv.cciu.org. On Friday, May 16th, the Viewers Choice Awards will begin. After viewing the movies, students, parents, teachers, family and friends can click on a link to vote for their favorite movie. The Viewers Choice Awards will end at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon, May 20th. The movie with the most viewer votes will be recognized at the awards ceremony. We are asking that all viewers adhere to the honor system and only vote one time.

Technology Quiz Bowl

Students will form small teams to compete in an interactive quiz game with other computer fair participants. Have some fun using the interactive remote sensors and test your knowledge!
